| Keith Jobbitt A lawyer with Shaffer Jobbitt Law Firm, Mr. Jobbitt has been actively involved in the growth of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. He is a former Chair of the Board for Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, and has held chair and trustee positions on several hospital and Health Sciences Centre committees. | Dr. Gary Polonsky Originally from Thunder Bay, where he led the creation of the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium and the Dorion Trades Centre at Confederation College, Dr. Polonsky is Founding President of UOIT (University of Ontario Institute of Technology) in Oshawa. | Dr. Fred Gilbert Dr. Gilbert was appointed as Lakehead University's fifth President and Vice-Chancellor in July 1998. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. He also is a member of the Advisory Council to the Nuclear Waste Management Organization and of Ambassadors Northwest. | Dr. Michael Julius Dr. Julius is Vice President of Research at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Senior Scientist in molecular immunology/cell biology with Sunnybrook Research Institute. He is also a professor with the departments of Immunology and Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. |

| Ron Saddington Mr. Saddington has been President and CEO of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre since 1997. He is a member of the Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee (OHTAC) and a member of the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO). | Lyn McLeod Ms. McLeod served in elected political office, locally and provincially, for 33 years, prior to her retirement on October 2, 2003. Elected to the Ontario Legislature, Ms. McLeod represented the riding of Fort William/Thunder Bay-Atikokan from 1987 to 2003. She has been leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, Minister of Colleges and Universities, Minister of Energy and Minister of Natural Resources. She is currently the Ontario representative on the Health Council of Canada, and serves on the Ontario Health Quality Council and the Ontario Power Authority. She was the Founding Chancellor of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and is a past Chair of the Board of Governors of Confederation College in Thunder Bay. | Robert Paterson Mr. Paterson was born and raised in Thunder Bay, spending most of his career in a family business involved with Great Lakes Shipping and Western Canadian Grain Handling. He is currently a Director of the Great Lakes Pilotage Authority and Chair and Director for Goderich Elevators Ltd. | Don Caddo Mr. Caddo is a retired accountant and former president of Caddo Consulting in Thunder Bay. He is a former Thunder Bay Hospital Board Chair and committee member, and was also a founding member of the Hospital Planning Council. |

Power Mr. Power is the founding CEO of Thunder Bay Regional Research Institute and Vice President of Regional Cancer and Diagnostic Services at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. He participates on the Provincial Leadership Council of Cancer Care Ontario. | Michael Gourley Mr. Gourley is President and CEO of a consulting firm in Toronto. He is Chair of the Independent Review Committees of Sentry Select Capital Corporation and its related entities. He is a retired Price waterhouse Coopers LLP Partner, a former Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Treasurer and Deputy Minister of Economics for the Province of Ontario. | Dr. Roxanne Deslauriers Dr. Deslauriers is currently the Director of Research at the Institute for Biodiagnostics at the National Research Council of Canada, and a member of the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR). She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg and the Department of Physiology at the University of Manitoba. | Dr. Louis Siminovitch Dr. Siminovitch was Director of Biological Research at the Ontario Cancer Institute and later head of the Department of Medical Genetics. He was the first Chief of Genetics at the Hospital for Sick Children and the first Director of Research for the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital. |
